Yes this week has seen high volume but it composed of principally two transaction types:
1.Warrant holders selling into their short positions &
2. A bold trade of 333m shares at 11.25cps
These are NOT investing transactions but purely trading transaction.
The warrant holders are exercising at 5cps and selling immediately into their short positions so can they lock in their substantial profits. They are not interested in remaining in LYC as LT holders.
The debt holders want their money back plus a margin so they convert at 10 cps and sell at 11.25 cps for a margin of 1.25cps. Mt Keller the buyer of the 333m in a block trade at 11.25cps have already made 2.75cps on the transaction. So everybody is happy.
However the warrant holders and debt holders will have done their homework on LYC and realize that the upside on LYC is not that substantial. If it was they would stay and reap larger gains. As it is they are selling at every opportunity and will continue to do so.. Between the bond holders and warrant holder holders there are still 2960m shares to sell. So LYC will have to absorb this enormous volume before the SP can gain traction.
The SP is being managed by computer algorithms to enable these gentlemen to exit at a profit. So upward SP movements are done to encourage retail buyers to buy shares so that more shorts can be placed. They are ruthless and relentless in pursuit of profit. Nevertheless please DYOR
