Having another read of this my understanding is a bit better now...
CS conducted a block trade and had 29m shares transferred in & out = transient = normal broker activities
Who they sold to is unknown
What got caught up in this annc is all there other smaller teansactions prior to 24/10/2017 - i.e. borrowed & returned shares
...
I'm not too sure anywhere in here that suggested that CS had to sell the 29m shares at market prices - maybe i've missed it; which is quite easy to do from a phone view
