There use to be two housing markets in Guernsey i think, probably still is, one for those that were born there and one for those that came there, apparently was hard to get residency there back then too, big difference in price too i think. My parents went there in early seventies, i remember living in three houses there in my 8yrs, one was on a cliff somewhere near Pembroke i think. However i think if you were born there you had to spend the first 10yrs of your life there to qualify for the local market or something like that. @walkingeagle do you know if thats right? I was born there but left at 8.5yrs old but have always wondered if i would qualify for local market.
