Flaming
I have been on a lot of down and outers.
I was there at their lows ..I bought plenty
of BDR at 14 cents years ago.
Loaded up on SAR at 11 cents
Loaded up on SBM at 11 cents
Loaded up on RSG at 24 cents
I can go on a fair bit.
The thing is I always could see a way of
of them making money other than hoping the POG will hit $1800.
In reality none of them have turned out as good as I had hoped although they have been multi baggers for me.
I am all for a bargain but for the life of me I cannot find anything that would suggest
BDR can make money ever.... Over the last couple of years things have gone terribly.
The grades just are not there.
You can look at PRU... They have been in a similar situation except their Edikan operation is bigger and they have had better funding from the start and better management. Edikan is finally running at what I consider close the best it will ever get. Now it is clear to me that it will be flat out breaking even long term....but they do have a second mine now so who knows.
NST are buying a 4 million oz operation
in Australia for $80 million
The plant already operates at a profit.
So what is BDR really worth.
BDR operate at a huge loss....$50 million plus a year....if they were to produce 35k oz more a year at no cost they would still be looseing money.
Yes .....BDR do not make money....They operate at a huge loss....Some smart traders
may make money but long term holders are throwing their money away
Cheers
