Job description
We are looking for a Territory Sales Representative in Southern Ohio (residing in Columbus/Cleveland area) region who will exhibit strong sales performance, clinical excellence and ongoing competitive knowledge.
This critical role will develop key relationships with Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, and Administrators in addition to the economic end-users through frequent and routine customer visits, product in-servicing, procedural observation and relevant business meetings. As a Sales Representative, this position will be responsible for driving sales revenue to exceed division priorities and define/develop new business opportunities that clearly reflect the company’s vision and priorities as well as contribute to overall team success.
Additionally, he/she will have experience and be comfortable in hospital-based settings and manage their territory with integrity and in accordance with our Code of Conduct.
Sales:
Execute all sales calls with the ADAPT Sales Model using advanced technical data and clinical validation to deliver a valued solution to the customer.
Design and execute strategic Territory plans with account segmentation and focus on accounts by potential, significant current business, and ability to leverage account/customer influence to gain market share.
Develop and execute a cohesive and integrated sales Account plan that will facilitate winning new business (increase market share) and the expansion into existing accounts.
Create detailed account forecast, with customer commitments as measures of success. Identifying where an account or customer is in the buying process and when business will close.
Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other tools/resources to manage territory and account plan.
Build and maintain sustainable business/strategic relationships in key accounts.
Product Knowledge:
Maintains knowledge of company products and competitive offerings.
Remain current on Admedus products, programs, services and competitive activity.
Business Development:
Define and develop new business opportunities that clearly reflect the company's vision and priorities.
Build and maintain constructive strategic relationships in key accounts and be able to take actions that are consistent with the stated organizational goals.
Prioritize accounts by potential and creates an effective account plan to achieve business outcome.
Develop quarterly plans designed to exceed revenue targets.
Implement sales plan and achieve/exceed sales goals and objectives set by management.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
BA/BS education required.
Must have at least 5 year’s of direct/field sales experience in medical technology, biotech or pharma. Strong preference for sales experience in biologics, cardiovascular and medical device.
Travel throughout designated territory is required to perform the role
Valid driver’s license, working motor vehicle & insurance
Excellent communication skills, verbal and writing, internal and external
