DJI may have played a small part in reflecting liquidity in the global market but there are certainly more at play with KGN, retail sales figure, luxury vehicle sale figure, consumer confidence in Australia etc. It may have closely run its trend with DJI due to some macro events but I don't think it worths our time to seek explanation when it deviates from what we previously fixate on. KGN price to me correlates more to local economic outlook and sentiment, especially when it relates to RBA, interest rate, credit growth.
