Perhaps they see this as part of their way to prove to their clients they can make money on a (potential) short/medium term spec stock thus report a QoQ YoY growth.
The other hand is they pump to eventually liquidate their profits not only for the company still providing a QoQ growth with the aim for a YoY growth thus to reinvest for their clients.
No funds management firm will pay approx $4.4m average buy rate of 11c 40M shares to waste away. They are going to want substantial profit and they won’t be liquidating profits at 19c that’s for sure. They will want to push it higher.
