Holding circa 5.2% of the stock they have a fair bit of market control to "shake the tree. It doesn't take them much to gain a good market insight where sell points are particularly with trading and 'hot' warrants. If volumes get thin and there is some uncertainty in the market a fairly fairly good push on short sales is a good starting point. Whatever they do will be quite stealthy.
Its fairly hard to determine exactly how UBS will play the market with A2M however to get a better insight how they apply technology to manipulate the market I have posted 3 links that may be of interest.
