Just a case of slack housekeeping. Last year's report confirms he held 70m shares, however the top 20 at the end of that report only had him down as holding 30m.
The 40m were exercised in 2016, and he became substantial at that time. For whatever reason, the sub notice was never filed and presumably someone has picked up on that now the FY report is being polished off.
