Shorting is not something I have ever done and although I understand the concept it reeks of a get rich quick scam. You only have to look at those who were shorting JBH who yesterday were caught out with a profit report that came in over general estimates and short sellers were left looking at a 10% loss in a day.
Take a look at these two videos explaining the concept of shorting in layman's terms and hopefully it explains the concept. I say again I don't agree with the concept or claim I or the videos are to be taken as investment advice.
