Seabright helicopter after having $1B invested in its lateast technology purchase from the US military - apparetnly it cant fly in cloudy, dark or misty conditions
Subs that are to loud (despite having "quite" diseal enginess) nuclear was better idea Helicopters that cant fly in anything other than clear conditions Tanks that overheat in battle or cant drive through swamps Not to mention semi automatic machine guns that jam up when cleaning and killed at least 2x east timor peace keepers and aussie soilder during live firing Missiles that had to be re calibrated due to not being ablve to hit short range targets. Jets that are to old
The list goes on - sorry reading a newspaper report on the seabrite helicopters today theres at least $10B the nation didnt need to spend on repairs / upgrades etc due to military acquistion strategies
Not to mention $800m on supply lines infrustrature that is up the creek without a paddle (private enterprise stuffed up)
No wonder the economy hasnt grown as much as possible the government spending on teh armed forces has wasted $10B that could have been better spent on reliable miltary hardware or other services ?
