Hi Rolla
You're in a very equestrian mood today. Unfortunately our FAR horse seems very reluctant to bolt from its stable.
Time will tell if it is destined to follow in Phar Lap's phootsteps or if it will it be boiled down for glue at the knacker's yard.
Its heavily sedated (I hope it isn't heading into a coma) at the moment and needs a little encouragement to break into a trot, followed by a canter and then a gallop.
Everything has been thrown at it but that recalcitrant hoss just won't move.

ON THE MORNING of Tuesday, 5 April 1932, Phar Lap, the racehorse legend, mysteriously collapsed at a farm outside San Francisco 16 days after he won the Agua Caliente handicap in Tijuana, Mexico. He died in the arms of Tommy Woodcock, his dedicated strapper and mate.

While we await the pontifications, deliberations and ruminations of the three wise (wizened?) men, I will speculate on a PE outcome:
We never get a decision
The parties settle amicably
Far gets monetary compensation (tens of millions not hundreds)
WPL retains operatorship and ownership of its 35%
The three wise men retire citing an exhaustive schedule and cholesterol level issues (no more French braised pigeon!)
FAR SP slowly grinds its way back up.

What an epic saga this has been!
