Am actually surprised the stock hasn't performed more strongly despite the market carnage. You would think it is one of a handful of companies that would actually benefit from people's fear of the virus. Anecdotally, vitamins seem to be selling very well in supermarkets and pharmacies - this surely will continue as well roll into winter?
Moreover, its major competitor, Swiss, reported overnight in HK and commentary suggested that they are positive on the outlook partly due to people's focus on health/immune system in light of the virus. Interesting to see whether Blackmores will make any comments regarding demand in the near future.
