...well it boils down to... why are >80 million shares in the hands of naked short sellers....and the answer is....ask AustralianSuper & Mr. Verner....

...what they should do is to immediately put the Mozambique operation in care & maintenance and only operate BAM...if there is value add and cash accretive...if it is still cash negative... close that as well....and wait for the market to turn...

....any other strategy is mismanagement, especially if you are aware that there are vultures circling around; they are attracted to the smell of cash burning....

I would also request to suspend trading based on market force majeure (ASX rules sec 802/ 803)....ASX is reckless at this stage....most other countries have already banned short sellling.....why do you want to profit when people are dying out there....unethical to say the least....

....that is assuming they have no agenda....but this is Mr Verner et al....and his retirement fund is probably depended on the change of ownership of this company at minimum cost to the future acquirer...
