Shaun Vernor is an idiot. Anyone in Year 12 high school studying Economics(and they don't get paid $800,000 per year like this Turkey) would know that if you flood the market with far too much excess supply, the price you get for it will drop significantly - and below your cost of production (i.e. the break-even price plus shipping costs).

And demand for EV verhicles - while strong in the long term - was simply not growing anymore than 8% to 12 % per year. And their product is cheap shitty fines - not the better priced flake. They have failed to deliver every quarter the last 12 months. Then given excuses they will get better pricing by shifting from 80:20 fines/flake to 70"30 flake - and again not delivered. I wonder whether there is something going on with Australian Super too - why on earth would you invest so much of Australian peoples hard earned super money into this company and then short sell (lend) out the shares you own which drives the share price down. Destructive to say the least.

If anyone does have money to spend, now is the time to take it over. Glencore, South 32, FMG, maybe a big battery maker, or Tesla.

This idiots have really stuffed this up. And short-sellers smell blood.

You see when they don't have to buy back the shares they have borrowed (and they don't when a company files for bankruptcy) they make a killing. But is someone (or a bunch of people do take it over - say for 60 cents or 1.10 or 1.30) the 20.25% short sold really get burned. But the fact the number has gone back up by 3% in 3 days, suggests, the shortsellers think this company is gone. Come around Anzac day (25th of April) when they release the quarter figures for 31/3/2020 we will see. If cash on hand is close to what they said it would be, they are in with a chance (as prices for Graphite will be much higher for quarter end 30/6/2020 as plants have just reopened.) Don't expect any share price driver from the plant in USA either. Still no feedback from Board as to Customers like or dislike of the product. And it is only a pilot plant doing 5,000 tonnes a year. It needs big money to scale up to 25,000 tonnes and then 50,000 tonnes a year (which they don't have).
