Hi spider5, I love banking with Bendigo. I bought shares with them because of this and how they do business, I love walking into the local branch , everyone knows my name Bla Bla. BUT end of the day no one cares about community values.. None of my mates bank with them, they are country idiots though. Me .... I want a return on investment. This community thing has to stop. It makes them look weak and soft. Sure keep the old school feel ( which i love ) but chase and keep the $$$ which everyone loves even more. That's what banks are for. Also they need to merge with anyone and get rid of the silly bumpkin name, two states is not enough to become one of the big five.
