My neighbour, an old cocky who sold out his family plot to a mining company and bought property next to me.. has $$$$ coming out his arse was given > 4k cash by westpac for a new water pump after the fires (Gippsland). He doesn't need a new pump, but good on him. I would have taken it too.
All I get are mega tax bills and announcements of free money to people who don't need it. Dont get me wrong - I get charity, all for it. But 100K to the local footy club by Bendigo whilst single mums in the area are feeding their kids domestic cheese is not on.
