Never been clearer than it is in this announcement. This deal is all about CATL.

It has long been suspected and pointed out by LTH’s here that AVZ is what CATL’s long term plan is in terms of securing abundant high quality Li to fulfil all it’s future requirements.

Now this deal is done I expect OT’s and a FID to soon follow. It’s in CATL’s interest now to fast track Manono into production.

FIRBs recent decision is a blessing in disguise for us SH’s. A TO of AVZ is no longer an option for CATL, it won’t be approved. CATL’s only option now is to work collaboratively with AVZ in a mutually beneficial way. This outcome is great, it means AVZ SH’s will get maximum value now for years to come.

The really good part of this journey is just starting. Time for us LTH’s to get the just reward we deserve and enjoy the ride.
