I just wrote the following in a NHC thread as a result of a similar question:
They have recently bought about a 5% stake in New Hope Coal, Accent Group (AX1), Regis Resources (RRL) and Sandfire Resources (SFR). Not sure what it means. It may just be as simple as them liking these stocks at current prices.
Upon looking them up I discovered an article out of The Financial Review dated 18/12/2017 which stated the following:
"Vinva Investment Management may just be the country's biggest management success story that isn't talked about ….consistently outperformed its benchmark index".
Morry Waked is the Managing Director and Head of Investments. It would appear that the company prefers to keep a very low profile.
