That is correct @wilto, as the description says, the short sales provided by ASIC has a lag of T+4 days.
Looking at the trend though, there is still a substantial number of short positions as of 22nd Sept as I'm writing this. In fact, it's consistently increasing and WEB still holds the top position of most % short positions on the ASX.

If you look at WEB in Jan this year, it had a SP of $14, shares at 186m, 2.6b MC
At it's lowest, it hit $2.50, shares at 186m, 465m MC
    Right now, it's about $4, 338m shares, 1.3b MC

The company is currently valued at half of what is was prior to COVID.
Half of it's business operates in Europe, MEA and US which are either in or going back into lockdown.
The other half between Aus and NZ and we're yet to see any lifting of restrictions. Even then I'd anticipate that we won't be able to go back to full capacity so there will be a constraint on number of people in hotels, on planes etc.

I think we're still a way off from business returning to half of what it was before COVID.
Personally, I don't think the current valuation is justified and I don't particularly think the growth potential is that great given current SP.
