I would refrain from calling them 'ballsy'. Not out of concern for causing offence, but because they were obviously privy to information that you and I were not. One does not simply invest that much in Biotech, which is speculative in nature, without having some form of insider information.

The core competency of the investor lies elsewhere, and the amount invested shows a risk appetite far exceeding what would be expected of a reasonable person or group (even when compared to their total wealth).

This investment was no accident, and it is likely luck will not factor into the equation either.

Coupled with the option conversion going on, there is a strong possibility that a deal will be made within the next 12 months, possibly earlier with the attention the company is now getting.

I hope the outcome is a great one for all holders and sufferers. Personally, I am still kicking myself for not doubling my holding when this group announced their substantial interest.
