There is def something dodgy about them. The shares were bought by Invesco Australia and are valued around the same as the total of their three funds that hold Australian shares...none of these funds hold DEG. So where did the DEG shares they bought go to? More likely one of the Invesco international funds.....but that seems dodgy to me as it was Invesco AUSTRALIA that bought them.
Anyhow, I got this info from their webpage.....maybe someonne more clued up on the ASIC rules for who can buy & sell Australian securities, and what they can then do with those securities, can comment.
