Yep, I think you're right... yesterday I had the feeling it was being pushed lower for a TO pop, it still might be... but I forgot for a second there regal was in play. Wouldn't be surprised if they are shaking the tree to accumulate lower..
If this is the case, once the brakes come off... only one direction
