I should mention that I am not a lawyer so what I wrote was my own non expert opinion.
But the direction from ASX seems clear:
"Trading participants which suspect that the market for a stock may be uninformed or that trading in a stock is unusual, are encouraged to raise their concerns with Surveillance."
