So many issues here.... Denial on timing markets, totally correct how hard it is to get right - "try to pick bottom, get dirty finger"

This isn't a market wobbling, it's blatant white collar crime, the Form 603 proves it! Institutions simply trying to scare retail investors into selling their shares for what is an absolute certainty.

BoA/ML don't need a phone call from ASIC - if they are aware of market manipulation, they have an obligation to report it to ASIC under their AFSL. Whether they can somehow justify to themselves that they are doing the market a service by creating liquidity in a stock (as opposed to criminal activity in fleecing retail shareholders) and therefore not report is another matter. Or maybe they did report and ASIC will spring into action in 2025...
