This thought process only happens when the price goes down. They provided the extra liquidity and demand to help it ascent. If they're no longer net accumulating or in fact selling where is the manipulation? And what outcome do you think these professional investors with oversight committees and compliance team eventually expect the achieve?
Suggest you just work within the system we have an adjust according. Not perfect for sure but it's not the most critical factor that will determine if you're a long term successful investor
