Agreed it's not a good look, but assuming a reasonable sale price is achieved, wouldn't any benefit JC receives from transaction proceeds be eclipsed by the value of his shareholding anyway?
I'd happily commit my votes to some shareholder activisim if I could be convinced that we'd be better off without JC. I'm not sure that a slip with the paperwork is enough to do that, especially that other senior management seem to be happy with JC in that position. Daniel doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to be interested in running an 'old boys club', but I could be wrong of course.
Hopefully we don't end up with another ex-insider slowly running down millions of shares anyway.
