Interesting times at TIE. Glad i bought in just like CDV in 2020 (in at 40.5 till 1.075). i doubt Nordgold will bid in current anti-russian sentiment.
V happy TIE is in south Ivory Coast, away from Mali and Burkina Faso where the security situation is getting from bad to worse. WAF''s mine is not affected yet but month after month the govt is losing control over more territory (40% of the country already by now). Glad to see TIE's forecasted ASIC 1st y around US$ 650/t. If we take reasonable selling price of US$1650/t and production 20% below mgmt forecast = 200K oz, that would give around US$ 200M... but with US$ on a tear right now closing in to 1.6 A$ we could be looking at a great A$ 320M for the 1st y. With MC at $ 710M, no debt, update and likely increase on MRE and LOM looming, potential upside with the Heap Leach and first pour 2 months away, i would not be surprised at all to see soon more parties interested to take over TIE.
