Given this is a hedge fund buying, I cannot imagine they are doing so on behalf of anyone else. That could be done by any broker using their nominee company. It seems to me that a hedge fund of the Odey type are buying on their own account and making their intentions quite clear as they see material value in the asset. I would be quite certain in my opinion that they envisage selling out down the track to whomever offers the best price and therefore they expect some sort of further bidding. These types of institutions are not here for some small turn on their investment imo! They will be here for a minmum return of 40% and most probably more imo.
