@gassed, do you want me to believe that Vanguard will buy more than 70 million shares just that they can lend them to short sellers and their original investment goes down and they make a capital loss?
I am not buying that.
Whoever buys anything, does that in the prospect of making capital gain.
If they lend to short sellers, it will be a Minor percentage of their original investment. May be for bit of short term profit.
