They really are in tough spot with that massive holding in WGB.
If they try to sell it down - it will just worsen the discount and annoy WGB holders.
Keep it - and holders of WAR are just as mad.
There would appear to be a possible conflict of interest when holding an internally run fund.
The irony of a fund designed to go after poorly run, heavily discounted funds - holding the majority in its own fund.
You couldn't make it up.
Of course, I realise this was largely the result of corporate actions around Templeton - still - pretty funny.
