She did inherit a situation that was far from fully developed and has been very successful. Whether the means are fair is another issue some of which is before the courts. Her late husband Frank Rinehart seems to have been behind much of the dealing.

Fairfax? She has had a chilling effect on the media and that's been highly effective. She halted the resource mining rent tax with a campaign that was frighteningly effective.
I don't think her primary motivation is the national interest it's Gina's interests. Sometimes they may happen to coincide.
She's been the subject of litigation by her own children, a situation I cannot imagine happening with Creasy or Rovira nor that they particularly like her either.
But this is not personal it's business.
