There is no "shorting about to begin". Ash is absolutely correct. There is nothing to see here.
S32's short activity has been about 0.5% for the past year. As good as zero.
State Street buy / report a 5.1% stake purchased, and they sell / report a 5.1% stake sold. It's been happening for as long as the shorts have been constant at 0.5%. I don't know why they do this and I don't care. Maybe their ownership creeps over the 5% mandatory reporting figure then it slips slightly under it and that also needs reporting. They have millions of clients whom they must be buying and selling for. I haven't given the matter much thought.
