My interpretation is that Vanguard would be holding STX in various managed funds off the back of MSCI World Small Cap index inclusion, which took place in Feb 2023. Obviously I can't be certain but I would be pretty confident the large volumes like 28th Feb, 17th March, and 1st June this year are attributable to Vanguard and other Global Fund Managers establishing and rebalancing their positions. JMO.
