    That's not generally the purpose of a share buy-back. They buy the dips. In general ASIC frowns on companies manipulating their own share price, so you won't see a buy-back where the company/fund is wiping lines on the sell side.

    What is happening though is that the buy-back is increasing the equity held by remaining holders. So far this buy-back has increased the equity per unit by 5%, which we get when the fund is (eventually) wound up.
