If that thesis is correct and shorters have already sold then today's fall is as a result of that news hitting the market, and a bit of panic - what's needed now (for retail and smallish prof. holders) is someone to hop in and buy at these depressed prices and put the shorters to the sword in a short squeeze.

Interested to hear comment - but anyway my sentiment is still BUY.

JandJ great post! Got me thinking!

JPM were also buying at $3 from September last year, continued to buy in October, November, December and January.

Why did JPM buy a further 5% more shares from ALB as a block trade, when things are supposed to be so bad?

JPM are now the third largest shareholders holding 227,735,820 shares.
