yeah but that 5.5% is an annual rate. Depending what you sold at,you would get the same return by holding. Dont think you will be waiting 12 months to collect. How certain? Well supported by both boards, Instos buying up, - the ones recently declared near 25%. The risks of this not happening look slim. Furthermore, not sure of your tax situation, there may be some value in realising your capital gains over 2 fin years. Time will tell!
