Thats assuming we see all the moves these instos make. There are dark pools for ASX which will be well utilised most likely. Like instos play by the rules aswell, rules we get enforced but not them (Except a breadcrumb every now and then to make seem authotrities doing their job).
Shorting definitely has an impact or the instos don't bother putting out trash news to damage the SP. They make bank from it being wrecked. Especially for ASX, its one of most loose markets. If only took the South Korea approach and ban shorts. Watch the price rocket if shorts banned.
