Hi old codger, let me know one project BHP is primarily exploring for gold, there is none.
So your saying BHP is a major gold producer and they operate a gold only mines, yeah right, LMAO.
Have you looked at there last yearly or half yearly reports there main areas of production are in Iron Ore, Copper, Coal, Nickel and Potash, no mention of gold. Below from BHP's financial results from Feb 2024:
Please show me where it states gold production, as I said previously its a by-product of there mining operation, they are not actively searching for gold only mines and have have no gold only mining operations.
BHP's revenue is over $90 billion aud, the 3/4 billion you mention of gold sales is irrelevant to BHP's profits or revenue. CAI will be producing 3/4 billion in revenue in a few years time when the Warrawoona and Nullagine are at full production.
