Prior to this notice Vanguard held a 4.93% interest as at 15 December 2023 (148,434,309 shares). This shareholding in Pilbara represented 0.01% of their portfolio at that time. This latest notice purportedly increases their holding to 5.02% (150,480,333 shares). Analysis of Annexure A reveals 7,652,426 shares sold at an average price of $3.91, and 3,630,281 bought at an average price of $3.78, during the period since last notice lodged. Can someone please explain how these latest transactions result in an increase in Vanguard's holding?
Vanguard as the fifth largest shareholder, with only 2 previous notices in last 12 months, has been a insignificant player in insider transactions:
