Only one I'm aware of was Nick Curtis made a ham fisted play for Canada's AMR, the animosity that created still lingers today.
The other was a Chinese overture pre $450m CR back ~2008 that was quickly shut down by FIRB.
Neither remotely relevant today, perhaps our punter confusing the recent Chinese play for NTU.
