Yiannis Exarchos, CEO, Olympic Broadcasting Services, noted that OBS plans to broadcast about 3,400 hours of competition but that close to three times that amount of content will be produced: “We should see about 11,000 hours of content, 450 days’ worth of content produced in a period of just 17 days. Why? To feed the insatiable beast of digital.”

OBS is not using Whizzard yet, but the sheer size of data and the advantage of including historic archive footage make Whizzard a must.
