It's not really how you'd run a takeover given the state of the register. I mean why would you buy 10% on market – when you can only buy 20% before you have to make a takeover bid – and push the SP up 20% and then try and negotiate a sale from Souls, Regal, Collins St and Thorney.
Maybe that's what they're doing, but it's not the smartest way to do it.
