This looks more like an investment situation. It looks as if HR Kaplan is a Financial Planner (Authorised representative) and the trusts are for investors in those investment vehicles. It looks as if it is a pooled fund(s) and he thinks that RFG is a good opportunity. The funds then sit along side other major investors (named above) in RFG until it 'hits its straps'.
If there is to be a takeover, it won't come from any of theses or the others) investors in my humble view.
