The only other place I can locate Vanguards holding is via **.st Where their current holding is shown as 4.08% The Vanguard Group:- 28,138,139 shares @ 4.08%. (clearly now out of date) If **.st can be believed then they have recently increased or bought an extra 6,376,003 shares. I've have noticed in the past that they have also sold PNV shares.
The Vanguard group have been on the register for a long time, along with BlackRock with 11,688,992 (again via **.st) Two beheamoths in the funds managment world.
