The “crypto guy” is most likely looking at how leveraging the blockchain technology can help lower the cost of delivering BNPL services. Cheaper peers to peer lending without the added overhead of supporting the traditional lending model. Blockchain as a technology is transparent and secure and could be used to significantly lower costs, but adoption rates will be a barrier. In my opinion.
