Shorter’s keep on keeping on because they can. No real near term turn around from synthetic it seems. CEO needs to come good with the DOE loan for Balama and the details of the offtake. At least they can tread water a bit longer. Key will be how much push there is for natural vs synthetic? Unfortunately any price advantage has disappeared for now. Battery manufacturer’s apparently keen on performance characteristics and also seemingly for now happy with any advantage from synthetic. Really need support from EU and US for ESG material vs synthetic.
