The last BB was on 4 June. Since then the SP has been trading below $15 for 28 days and above $15 for 19 days. Between 4 June and 28 June these numbers are 12 and 5 respectively.
A blackout period would only exist after 30 June until one day after FY announcement, if that fits in with the company's share trading policy - a copy of which could not be located anywhere - ASX announcements or CUV website.
You would have to think that besides any market sensitive information held by Clinuvel that hasn't been released (eg. commercially sensitive, which theoretically exists all the time) and save for any earnings glitch (eg reduction in annual revenue), probable earnings have already been broadcast via analysts and should be reasonably consistent - except for an increase in expenses due to higher staffing levels and the Vitiligo P3 trial expenses expected to impact NPAT.
A 'blackout period' of such a duration in this case when a 12 month BB is in progress is a nonsense if in fact this is why nothing has happened since 4 June.
