I think it's critically important to make sure the biggest investors in the country (Superfunds) can invest in your stock when you are flirting at the edges of the ASX20. These funds have got so much liquidity that they can't deploy it in Australian markets - AustralianSuper now has close to 50% of their investments outside of Australia.
