This is an interesting development. From my observations in the very distant past Gary Steinepreis has tended to help support and establish companies, and then move away as a company gets to focus on a particular subject. The fact that Gary has just relinquished his role on the board, and a big investor has bought in (albeit reported belatedly!) might be the precursor for an interesting acquisition or two.
